Enchanting and nice accommodation with unrivaled setting right by supermarket. Wonderful stuff throughout. Big building and rooms with a bed and tv. A huge variety of goodies for breakfast. Great experience there.

Hotel showing its age. Poor quality furniture in rooms. Not the best location.It looks far more impressive in the photo than the reality. Very noisy at night in the corridors. Mid way through my stay they tried to move me to a sister hotel not far away due to football supporters wanting to use the hotel I was currently staying in. I viewed the hotel they wanted to move me to and it was terrible, right opposite a service station that stank of diesel. Luckily I convinced them to let me stay on at the first hotel, Lucky escape I thought.The north of Barranquilla is far better structured, but where I stayed is very backward.

I got an amazingly comfortable and cool room with good coffee, LCD TV with plenty of channels, plus a shower. the staff was kind and lovely. The location was marvelous, just a short stroll away from Joe Arroyo Statue.

Staff were completely dishonest when it came to settling your checkin policies/payment. They are working with a subcontracting firm out of Miami, Fl. And trying to bill your credit card in advance of your departure date, and converting local currency into U.S. dollars with the lowest rate available at the time. Dishonest reception personnel working with subcontracting agency, when your booking info is with Hotel .com not subagency. They charged my credit carda week prior to departure without sighning any kind of authorization. And then denied any king of acknowledgement. Very surprised an international american corporation Howard Johnson Hotel Inc. Reputation would be dismised for such business practices? Unprofessional reception and accounting management. Rcommend removal from your website!!
